Want to unlock the NieR:Automata-inspired outfits in Stellar Blade? Then you've come to the right place! In our guide to the DLC we will tell you how to get all the costumes and accessories.
Those responsible behind the action game hit “Stellar Blade” made no secret of the fact that it was an action RPG right from the start “NieR:Automata” was a great source of inspiration. Now both worlds collide for the first time in a paid DLC. This adds various new content to the game, which you have to unlock first.
In this guide we'll tell you where you can buy the new outfits for Eve and her friends and what you have to do to get them.
What new NieR:Automata outfits are included?
Once you have purchased and installed the DLC, it will appear in certain locations in the “Stellar Blade” game world Emil from “NieR:Automata”. However, it has taken a special form, viz that of a car. He is therefore a traveling salesman and zips around the area at high speed. That's why you have to force him to stop, so to speak. Once you see him, shoot him once or twice and he will stop.
If he has stopped, you can use the R2 button to open his shop, which contains these brand new items:
- YoRHa #2 Type B uniform
- YoRHa uniform 1
- Unofficial YoRHa ceremony clothing
- “YoRHa Type A #2” uniform
- “Pod 042” package
- Combat blindfold
- Emil's headgear
- YoRHa #9 Type S uniform
- “YoRHa No. 2 Type B” style
- “White Fox Mask” style
- “YoRHa Type A #2” style
Like the names of each one cosmetic objects As already revealed, they are based on various characters from “NieR:Automata”. For example, you can buy 2B and A2's outfits for Eve (clothes + matching hairstyle), Emil's headgear for Adam and you can give Lily the outfit of 2B's loyal companion 9S. There's a lot in there for fans of the popular action RPG from PlatinumGames.
Unlike the other shops where you can shop in “Stellar Blade”, Emil only accepts a very special currency: Star Tears! These are new collectibles that you can find in certain locations in the game world. In order to purchase all “NieR:Automata” items, you need a total of 15 Star Tears. So you have to be diligent if you want to get all the new DLC outfits and accessories.
Where can you find Emil in Stellar Blade?
Emil appears in different places in the game world. You can find out more about it in both regions “Wasteland” and “Great Desert” encounter. In these two areas you can also find the Star Tears just mentioned. The first place where you can meet Emil should be the junkyard in the wasteland. In the Great Desert you can encounter Emil near the landing zone. To do this, run a little bit to the east past some petrified enemies and wait for Emil's music.
If you have started a new game, you will automatically reach both regions during the course of the story of “Stellar Blade”. If you are already in the middle of a playthrough, you can easily go to these locations using the fast travel option.
